Datacell RC27B and RC27G batteries are portable Zinc - Manganese dioxide alkaline batteries.
These batteries must be considered Non Rechargeable.
Main features: nominal tension 1.5 V, available energy 270 Wh and net weight 1.6 Kg.
13 to 14 months of average duration for this battery intended application.
Utilisable extinguishing agents: carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder.
Datacell batteries are designed specifically and exclusively to be used as a power source for Datawell buoys.

a) End users have a role to play in helping prevent battery waste, especially by spreading good practices and Datacell reccomendations related to battery use to extend their usage phase.
b) End users have a role to play in helping with the separate collection of battery waste, in line with the obbligation placed on them under Article 64, so that proper processing can take place.
c) Datacell exhausted alkaline batteries should be collected separately from regular waste. Follow the guidelines of the nearest collection center for the collection of alkaline batteries.
d) The battery ingredients are contained in a sealed can. Potential exposure should not exist unless the battery leaks, is mechanically or electrically abused or is exposed to high temperatures. This battery contains caustic concentrated potassium hydroxide solution of which 10 to 50 ml may leak. Up to 200 ml of zinc or zinc oxide paste may also leak.
e) The bin-crossed symbol indicates that Datacell batteries must be collected separately according to the regulations and recommendations in force in your country, to ensure their processing with a view to recycling. Recuperated valuable raw materials can be used in different and various areas.
f) The only acutely toxic ingredient for human in Datacell Batteries is concentrated (about 40 weight %) potassium hydroxide solution of which up to 50 ml may leak if battery is not properly used. Alkaline Datacell batteries can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. Illegal dumping or disposal as unsorted municipal waste contribute to environmental pollution.
